	Fox8991 December 17, 2010 Halo is IMO the best series out to date. Halo: CE started the whole series in a very unique way that opened up the halo universe to millions of ppl. I'm rating it based on the current video game trends and software of its time. This is my all time favorite game.

mjblink December 17, 2010 While I don't personally like the halo series, that doesn't mean that the games are no good. Halo was the only respectable shooter on consoles for quite a few years before finally getting some competition. The game actually came out 9 years ago. Not sure what the 2006 date is from. The graphics were perfectly on par with the times. Multiplayer was limited to local, which is the opposite of the norm now, but the only choice at the time. This made large LAN parties the only way to seriously play multiplayer, an event most younger gamers probably have never experienced. The orchestral soundtrack was a step up and seriously enhanced the game's atmosphere. All in all a solid game. Worth breaking out and revisiting a time before swords, banhammers, chainsaws, and hiding behind mics in multiplayer shooters.

outcastmango December 16, 2010 An amazing game, I used to spend tons of time beating it on all the difficulties and playing local multiplayer with friends. I do believe the previous rater does not understand that this game was released 4 years ago, can't really compare its graphics to current games, in addition ignore the comments of all who gave this game 1-2 ratings, very poor reviews of a great game. The music on this game is just epic as well. All in all this is probably my favorite fps of all time and more then likely will remain thus.

Jack McCloud September 18, 2010 There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. It's a great game, and the major reason why the original Xbox became as successful as it is. And for good reason too, as it is one of the best FPS games of all time. The graphics hold up really well even by today's standards and the gameplay has aged very well, so much so that it's become the staple of the FPS genre as a whole. The soundtrack is fantastic, and easily the best in the series. Overall: This is a great game that spawned a franchise, and whether you love it or love to hate it, there's no doubt that this game has left a permanent impression on gamers all over the world.

	Grithoof June 19, 2010 The start to the halo series is a great game worth buying. The game plays through perfectly, with a pretty good story. The one problem is that the graphics do seem a bit short of the capability of the original xbox. Apart from that, it's nearly perfect.
