I'm not sure what it was about this game, but I loved it - I couldn't put it down. The voice acting is horrible and real time battle system is sluggish but that never seemed to matter. Again, I can't put my finger on it, maybe I just wanted to know more of the main character's background and it didn't disappoint. I'm about to start the final battles/dungeons so we'll see. Still, very fun - reminded me at times of dark cloud, Rogue Galaxy, and the later zelda games. Maybe that was why I liked the game so much, nostalgia. Speaking from a critical stand point, the game is pretty awful, but if you like any three of those games I listed, you'll prolly enjoy this one too.

Pretty good RPG. It's not as linear as FFXlll at least.

I can't even remember anything about this game. It was a very generic RPG like the other person said.

This is another generic RPG by Tri-Ace with the same derivative character designs, music, and bad voice acting that one should have expected from them. The battle system is a load of rubbish, in that any action you take always has a delay to it, especially as the game stutters with each and every blow you manage to land. For example, a knockdown combo of A, A, B has to be input all at once, and followed up with the game deciding whether or not to have the good grace to register the command and letting it animate all the way through. A cliched story, terrible voice acting, and another RPG battle system that incorporates just enough action elements to be somehow more frustrating than the older, turn-based systems, this is one JRPG you can definitely stand to pass. It's best to adopt a "wait and see" attitude with the studio at this point.

Graphics- Very well done environments, as well as character designs. Definitely is a HD rpg.
Voice acting could be a little better in some parts. (Main character can be some what annoying at times, but to each their own)

Gameplay- Seems fairly fun to me. I like battle systems that keep me moving and doing something. Sitting and waiting for my turn is rather annoying/in efficient.

Basic JRPG but I do love me some of those. If you like them you'll love it. If it's your first one then probably not. Story is fulfilling with a few twists as expected. Don't plan on getting all the achievements though....very time consuming.

Though critically panned this was overall a fun game. Though slow for the first few hours, once the story picks up it goes non-stop to the end. The fast and exciting real time battles and good visuals make up for the weak voice acting.

Well I finally beat this game and the ending isnt much to talk about. The fighting becomes way too easy towards the end but is still really bad. Say you want to replenish your health or magic, you have to open the menu and do it. Now that is fine but when you do that your character just stands there and is attacked by anything around while you try to find what you are looking for. I really hated that part of this game. Overall it was alright but I am happy I am done with it.

Clunky controls make a real time battle system a slog. Graphics aren't that good. Voice acting is terrible. The story is cliche.

Japanese developers really need to get their act together if they cannot even get JRPG's right these days. This game is just a painful grind quest that only the die hard would want to submit themselves to.
