So, Final Fantasy is having an anniversary, and they decided to make a game to celebrate the music from all the core games! If you like Final Fantasy music or rhythm/music games at all, then you shouldn't hesitate to pick this one up. I'm not a big FF fan, but I'm really enjoying it. The music is fantastic (actual songs, not remixes), there's a lot of it, and the graphics are cute and lovely in 3D. Its really neat in that it has an RPG element in a rhythm game. There are 3 main game modes- Battle, Field, and Event. They're varieties on tapping, sliding, and holding with your stylus to cues to the beat. Its easy to pick up, but grows in difficulty! Streetpass is pretty cool since you share a dark note song, and you have a customizable Proficard which is pretty detailed. Its also fun playing with up to 3 other folks locally. There is of course a Museum feature which collects songs, cards, video, etc. One other note, there are some songs to purchase in the eShop for .99 ea |
