AbstractTETRIS comes to the PlayStation with TETRIS PLUS. You've got to arrange oddly shaped pieces into complete lines to eliminate them. Now two players can play at once (although they aren't competing against each other) by utilizing the split-screen option. If you're feeling competitive, challenge a friend in the Versus mode. If you're looking for something a little different, try to help a professor explore ancient ruins in the Puzzle mode. You can get the classic TETRIS gameplay and few new twists with TETRIS PLUS.

Full descriptionThe classic Russian puzzle game comes to the PlayStation with TETRUS PLUS. You must arrange oddly shaped pieces composed of four blocks into complete horizontal lines. When you complete a line, it disappears and the remaining blocks settle into the bottom of the bin. The game gets faster and more difficult as you complete lines, with the game ending when the pile of pieces reaches the top of the screen. This classic gameplay is available along with a few other modes that help to inject new life into the TETRIS name. A new split-screen option allows players to play at the same time while not competing with each other. Of course, if you are feeling competitive, you can challenge a friend in the classic Versus mode. There's also a new Puzzle mode, in which you're trying to help a professor study some ancient ruins. This mode places the curious professor at the bottom of the bin along with some pre-arranged pieces, and you've got to clear the pieces for the professor to escape to the next level. All of the action of classic TETRIS, along with a few new twists, can be your with TETRIS PLUS.
