I'm sorry but I got bored halfway through this game. It was mainly the puzzle solving.
It's just...a third person hack and slasher, with horrible puzzle solving. And some QTE's that make it "epic." I had more of an epic time, with a similar forumula, with Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and that has less combos than this game did.
I just wasn't entertained enough by this. Sure you can rip people in half, but I just felt like I was being made fun of playing this; it's just not challenging to play this, or stimulating, or have any real immersion for me. |

This is pretty much my favorite game, I beat this probably more than 5 times and I even wrote a walkthrough for it to post on gamefaq's (which got deleted accidentally :(. First off the graphics were just the best around at the time that this game came out and they still aren't ugly by today's standards, the music is awesome in this game and flows with everything. The story of the game is where I fell in love with this and decided that I wanted to make sweet love to this game, over and over and over again. The story is completely epic and you have to play it to experience it so I am not going to explain it. The gameplay is awesome too, controls great, and there are numerous different ways to dismember your enemies, and the controls are very tight and work extremely well. I'ts just plain fun all the way through. You will not be dissapointed with this game. |

Great game! Strong graphics, tight controls and excellent sound. My only complaint here is that while the length felt right (6-8 hours), it would have been nice to do a few more things. the whole game basically boils down to a mediocre 1st 3rd in a city and on a boat, then the remainder in one large (and very cool mind you) temple. I would have liked to have seen a few more locations. But that's what the sequel is for! |

Krato's is one of the best anti-heroes ever. The Gameplay is great. And the mythological story is good. Challenging, fun, one of the best games ever. |

Wow...what an amazing game! I played this on The GOW Collection for the PS3 and the graphics were VERY impressive. The game itself is terrific with a delightful blend of hack and slash action and puzzle-solving/exploring. The final stages of the game were pretty frustrating at first but with a little patience I was able to master them. The rest of the game offered a pretty balanced challenge. I'm glad I picked this up! |
