Be honest about the condition of your trades and PM your trader at the beginning of the trade to warn them of any shortcomings to expect, (i.e. damaged cases, disks or artwork/instructions). Nothing beats receiving a new or like new condition game/movie and everyone hates receiving a nasty, dirty, been in a fire or heavily scratched game/movie that will not play. Just remember, collectors do not want trashed out and dirty trades. PMs are golden to explain what your trade looks like. Everyone is happy and there are no misunderstandings. I pride myself on how well I package my outgoing trades with protective cardboard on each side of the trade. I have never had any damaged outgoing trades. And I always PM the trader if the condition of the trade is less than normal.
