Goozex Gamer eCards
For the last few weeks we have been quietly working on the Goozex Gamer eCards. The Gamer eCards allow you to send a little special note to your friends via email. All are member created!
The way it works is that you click on the card you want to send, type a personal message and hit send. Your friends will receive an email from you with the eCard and link back to Goozex if they want to send their own. This is open to anybody and they don't have to be a member of Goozex to send the cards.
We want to thank a few members who helped create the first set of Gamer eCards:
We invite you to submit your own ideas for new Gamer eCards. You can post them on the forum or email them to feedback AT Goozex dot.com.

Goozex Updates
Game Trading Dashboard
Goozex has recently updated the Toolbox section with a new selection of options for the Dashboard widget that help you keeping an eye on your trading activity wherever you are. New options include support for:- iGoogle
- MySpace
- Your personal profile on the Goozex forums
- Hi5, Blogger and many other sites
Trading info to show # of games available for trading in queue
Goozex has released an important extension to the “Trading Info” tab on any game page. In addition to showing the number of “Active” and “On Hold” offers/requests you can now see the number of “Ready to trade” offers/requests. These are games immediately available to be selected for a trade.The new addition helps you get a better understanding of what offers/requests are really available for trading right now!
New Activity Feeds for Ratings and Forums + Activity Stats!
Have you seen the new activity stats on the front page and side bar? We recently introduced two new features that give you higher visibility on what is going on at Goozex from a single location. Activity stats gives you a quick access to the following:- Recent trade news with links to members and games
- Recent member ratings with links to members and games
- Hot topic forum threads
Mobile Support on Goozex (beta)
We have recently introduced support for those mobile devices (PSP, Treo, Motorola Q, etc.) that were previously not able to login on Goozex due to javascript limitations. We now offer a new login page in pure HTML that you can use to login from any mobile device that does not support javascript. Once logged in you should be able to see your Request and Library lists (at least).You can find the mobile login page here: http://www.goozex.com/mobile
Feel free to share your feedback and the list of devices you have been able to test successfully. It will be much appreciated! (Visit the forum discussion)
Please note: Mobile support is in beta - You may still encounter problems in using the search, advanced search, and some of the My Account/Purchase functions as these use javascript heavily, but most of the other functions should work.

Goozex Community Gift/Service Project - **Season of Giving**
The Goozex Community is coming together to contribute to the Goozex Community Project. The project aims at collecting video games, accessories and consoles for children and their families that are hospitalized.The community project will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), specifically the RMHC of Greater Washington D.C., Inc. which serves the Children's Hospital of Washington DC (more info on http://www.rmhc.org/ )
