Hey PS3ers, we are all very appreciative of the savings and community that Goozex has provided, so let's give something back and give Goozex a little of our love. Folding@home is a piece of software that you can install and run on your PS3. It is a distributive computing program that is working hard to solve many of mankind's diseases: Alzheimer's Disease, Cancer, Huntington's Disease, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, and Parkinson's Disease.

So let's make the Goozex monster proud, and let's make that PS3 work.Join the Folding@Home Goozex team: Team Goozex #80197

For those without PS3s, you can go to the website provided above and download whichever client and also help this cause and research (on your PCs).

Awesome. I'm in.
I'd be glad to join, I regularly leave my PS3 on over night to donate my processing power to Folding@Home, and it'll give me more incentive to do so to do it as a Goozex member.

Well I've been on board for awhile.. under two names, in fact. I really don't see why we don't have more people, we must have a lot more PS3 users than the few listed.
Good call ShadowMasterX....maybe we should encourage our fellow PS3 Goozex forumers by adding something to our sigs. A constant reminder like that might be helpful.
Your wish is my command, heh. It is a good idea, so even if someone doesn't check out this thread, they'll see it and possibly join. Having, like, 5 members is a bit weak.
I'm folding as well now. Go team Goozex!
(too bad my PC sucks, I'm probably not doing as much as someone with a better CPU...)

Folding@Home Petaflop barrier passed!
For all of you non-techies, that means that your PS3's working together has some serious processing power.
Great to see how PS3 owners are making a difference. More cynically though, I wish that I had more quality games so that they would compete for my PS3 time. Lair and Warhawk just aren't cutting it, atm.
