I did a search for this ahead of time, but didn't really get a clear answer, and just want to be sure of what's what.
A user agreed to ship me a game, and labeled it as shipped on Sept. 6. However, after a couple of weeks had passed, I hadn't received yet, so I sent a PM to verify the shipping status. It turned out that he had inadvertantly forgotten to ship the game off, and sent it off a couple of days later. I replied that I can understand how life can get busy and something can get overlooked. No harm, no foul.
Here's the question: The item is, to my knowledge, in process now--I don't have any reason not to trust this user, as he's got plenty of positive feedback. But, the deadline has passed, and the system has closed the match. I'm working under the assumption that the game will arrive. I believe that, if I've read correctly, the sender has received positive feedback, correct? On the other side of the coin, how does this affect my feedback rating (if at all)? I was really in a position where I couldn't exactly leave positive feedback, as I hadn't received the item, but couldn't really leave neutral or negative feedback, because the item should be on its way and in the proper condition. I really couldn't verify anything to give an accurate appraisal of the transaction.
So, to restate: 1) Will the sender receive positive feedback? 2) How is my feedback affected? 3) In the unlikely circumstance that I have been fleeced, what procedure do I follow to reclaim my points and trade credit?
Yes, Goozex automatically gives the seller positive feedback if the buyer hasn't given any response after 21 days. This is mainly to protect against people who forget or are too lazy to leave feedback even if they did get the game. If the game in question is "Legend of Kyrandia, Book 2: The Hand of Fate" - it's already considered a positive feedback since you let it time out.
Your feedback score is only affected by games you send out, so that's not really a concern in this situation.
If the game doesn't ever arrive, I'd recommend emailing feedback@goozex.com with the details of the transactions, along with the PMs you got from the other user showing that they hadn't shipped it. In the future, you should absolutely leave a negative if you don't have the game, no matter what the seller claims.

What madfigs said was absolutely perfect, but I quote this one for emphasis.
