I've been thinking of getting Gears of War & Halo 2 for Windows... just so I can mine some more gamerscore out of those games... ;) But how do these games work if traded? Will I be able to activate the game under my account and get the gamerscore for it? Or won't it be registered to the previous owner?
I mean, I know games have CD-Keys, and you expect the previous owner to uninstall it before sending it to you... whatever. If I had my copy of Quake 3, and the seller still had has, whatever - they didn't always go back out to a central server and verify. But games these days are another story.
So I was just wondering what the policy on games like these was?

It is like this:
- If you get a game and cannot use the included code to play online then there is a problem. The trader needed to uninstall and kill their account (if needed). Most games don't care that much.

Is there any way to file a dispute if the game doesn't let me play it? Would I just file a 'game not working' dispute?

you would first contact the user, giving them the cease and desist on the usage of the code as they no longer own it, and then you would contact goozex if there was still a problem
at least, thats what i'd do
Sounds reasonable to me - I hate getting negative feedback without any chance to correct it, here, eBay, or any other type of site!
Thanks for the input!
Make sure the games have the code of activating the game, otherwise, it's unplayable, for most games.
