I let everyone on CAG know but I got married on August 31st, that's why I've been pretty absent.  Lots of wedding planning in the last 2 months and I went to Vegas for 4 days my honeymoon.  Lots of fun and I married the greatest girl in the world.  And yes she likes video games, especially puzzle-based games and racing.  She's not too big on the Halo and other fps's but I'll work on that.

Maybe I'll post a few pics of the wedding and the honeymoon.

Anyways the wedding was a lot of fun and inexpensive with the honeymoon and the big rehersal dinner the total was under $9k.  Vegas was fun we stayed at the Hilton, saw a few shows, did the tournament of the kings, rode the New York New York Roller Coaster, and went to Hoover Dam.  I also hit up Gameworks and sampled a few of the games including an arcade style Mario Kart GP!

As an aside ... it just shows how long I've been married that $9k for a wedding doesn't immediately click as 'inexpensive' to me ...

Congratulations!  Maybe you can start a CAW site or something to help those of us in engaged stage (going on either 3 or 4 years...the exact year I proposed escapes me )

Congrats! I'm getting married in a month myself.  My bride to be is realizing that she won't be able to totally kick my gaming habit so she might as well try to join me.  She tried Halo and Rock Band a few weeks ago, but wasn't interested.

Any specific suggestions that have gotten your wife onboard?

I got my wife hooked with Kingdom Hearts , try some good RPGs or platformers.  She also just bought me Rock Band for my birthday which is a fun game to play together.
