Every system "dies."  The Dreamcast just left an attractive corpse.  For only living 2 years, it had some amazing games:

Soul calibur, Seaman, Shenmue, Jet Grind radio, Sonic Adventure, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Bangai-O, Porject Justice, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, Power Stone 2, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, Virtua Tennis, 2K sports, Crazy Taxi

I am just celebrating the Dreacast's Birthday. Why you ask? Because it has been 9 years and I never owned one up to last Friday . Half-Life on the Dreamcast is great . Cant wait for my requested DC games to come in the mail. Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, and Vigilante 8 2nd Offence are just the beginning of my collection .

plus it had great features like online play and if i remeber correctly it had a way to have internet browsing.

Yep you are correct. You need the Dreamcast Web Browser Disk and dial-up connection to do so. You could use the Keyboard and mouse, they also work with Unreal Tourny, Quake 3 Arena, and Half-Life that I know of.
