We just purcased a brand new: Scene It: Lights, Camera, Action. We've tried everything we can think of to get these Scene It controllers to work. There is no troubleshooting guide in the manual.
None of the 4 controllers register with the game.
All 4 controllers are sending out a signal as we can see the red infrared light come on when any button is pushed.
The infrared receiver on the XBOX 360 works as the infrared remote control registers.
The only way we can play the game is with standard XBOX 360 game controllers.
It's highly unlikely that all 4 Scent It controllers are defective, am I missing something obvious? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

i never messed with those controlers but is there a reset signal button on the them to connect to your 360 like the wirelss contollers when you need to program them for your 360 using the button left to the recharge slot.
Maybe try pugging the USB IR receiver into a different USB port on the 360, I know mine has been picky as to what it will recognize in different ports.

Yup, that did it. Switching ports did the trick. Though both ports work with other devices, for some reason the IR Receiver likes the other port. Thanks much!

It is an odd problem with the 360, I'm kinda glad it's not just mine that is like that though.
