Why is this 1000 points, its for PS1
probably because its rare and has more demand than supply.
Yeah, it'll fetch around $50 on ebay.
[sigh]
This yet another game that I need to get at some point. There are too many good games for the original Playstation.
Why is this game so good then? I know kevlar51 raves about it, but more about the DC versions.

I rave about the Sega CD versions. It wasn't released on Dreamcast. The Playstation versions were released on the Saturn in Japan though.
The Lunar games tend to be pretty rare, and for the Sega CD at least, they were the best games in a system with very few good games.
The PS1 versions came with some pretty nice extras, like a making-of DVD, a cloth map, and a hard-bound manual. Lunar 2 also came with cardboard stand-up figurines and a pendant.
The PS1 version of Lunar 1 has some significant changes to its Sega CD counterpart, but the PS1 Lunar 2 only has a couple very minor changes and of course updated graphics; the script is almost verbatim.
Sorry for the console confusion, I have a hard time keeping track of Sega's failures.

Take that back! The Sega CDX was NOT a failure! It was too far ahead of it's time!
I would be willing to argue that the Dreamcast did not fail, but rather exceeded. Afraid I can't say in good faith that the whole Sega CD/32X debacle was anything but a failure.
Sorry Coras.
The Lunar games are well written, have good storylines and are good "classic" RPGs. If you like RPGs, you'll love the Lunar games. They're entertaining, and VERY well translated, I might add.
