So I got this game from goozex a few days ago. I've been plowing through it and I think I'm screwed. I'm about to goto acre and everytime I go there it goes to the loading screen and I get a DRE. This blows. What should I do? I can't believe they sent me a game that screws up a fourth of the way through.

Any tips or anything would be awesome.

It sounds like resurfacing might be your best option at this point - there are a number of ways to go about this (detailed in this thread).  If that doesn't work you might try emailing Goozex, but since you already gave feedback I imagine that the seller could just as easily claim that your 360 did the scratching.

what does DRE mean? If it is due to scratches, start off with the cheap and non-damaging route of just trying to polish out the scratches with toothpaste or baking soda.

I have done it in the past and it works wonders. A little elbow grease though.
