I just recieved Beyond Good and Evil, but it will not play on my XBOX 360. I have contacted XBOX tech support, and there is not a download available to fix this problem for this game. Do I still give positive feedback?

Of course you leave positive feedback its your own fault you can't play it.

Next time check this for xbox games

So by that rationale, if your system had the RRoD and couldn't play 360 games, you'd give them a negative as well?  Jesus.

there are numerous sites that have a list of compatable xbox games, i suggest reviewing one of them prior to your next xbox game purchase

Also, know that if you do leave negative feedback, goozex will most likely request you send the game in for testing and feedback would be reversed

Thanks for the game compatability link. I thought maybe I could mail the game back and Goozex would put it back to the top if his offered cue, but I agree - I should just take the hit for not doing the proper research. Oh well - lesson learned.

Also, I didn't know XBOX 360 couldn't support all XBOX games... another lesson learned.

The game itself is playable, just not on your system. That's where it becomes your fault. I think bosoxfan25's comment needed some clarification.

The Xbox.com compatibility list is garbage.  There are many games on the list that have so many glitches they're barely playable.

Use the wikipedia list.

Willass22,

no big harm really, just a simple oversight. what you should do is ad the game to your offer queue so you can re-trade it, get your points back and get something that you can play :)

Thanks Tengaport. I actually already have a request for the game. It's so popular that it's moving really fast! Also, I found the wikepedia link referenced above:

It is really an excellent game, so it is an extra-shame that they didn't get it working on BC.

I'm embarassed to admit that it's been sitting in my 'to play' pile for ages :(

You could always explain to the seller what happened and request a trade cancellation.  You can return the game to the seller, and everybody gets back what they lost, but the seller has to agree to it first.  If it's a game that does not trade very often, they will be reluctant to accept your request.

Every time someone suggests the trading of older games, movies, books, CDs, or sandwiches, R2K kills a baby dinosaur.

Just an after thought -

What if the game is not palyable? If I recieve it, but it won't play on an XBOX 360 because it's a XBOX game, how can I confirm that it works? What if I send it on to someone else, and it turns out to be broken? (This didn't happen, but what if...?)
