On August 3rd, I sent Goozex feedback an email about a game which originally worked but as i played through, stopped working.I provided all the requested information.

[My Name]
uid: K2daz3
Seller: [X]
Game: Gears of War for Xbox 360
Points: 550
Shipped: 7/19/08
Completed: 7/23/08

I recently recieved Gears of War for Xbox 360 and after playtesting for several hours, I reported good feedback but after playing for a couple more days, I realize that it may not have deserved positive feedback. About 3 days ago, I had my first porblem with the game, it froze and the Xbox 360 said the disc is unreadable and that I should clean the disc and restart the console. After I cleaned and restarted, I played the game and about five minutes later, I had the same problem so I used a dic cleaner and it started working again. I figured that this would be the end of my problems. Today, I recieved the same problem again after several disc cleanings in a row which is why I felt I should contact you to see what course of action may be taken to resolve this matter. As of now, I am unable to play past this part of the game, even after multiple cleanings and restarts
Thank you in advance,
K2daz3

Happy Trading!

It's now August 27th, and over 576 hours later... still no response.
I want either a working Gears of war or 550 points because the game is "unplayable" as described in Goozex's own policies but Goozex hasn't even responded.

I really don't need to know about your genital cleaning....

but seriously... this is a unique situation because I feel you should be recompensated since your disc is not in working order, but I'm not sure what they can do since you gave the user a pos and it would be hard for them to take that away because they could argue you may possibly have accidentally scratched the disc or somthing so this may be an unlucky break:/.

Just out of curiosity, what does the disc look like?  I've had a similar problem with Gears of War and a couple of other games, though it didn't happen every 5 min.  It happened much less frequent, and in all cases, the game was brand new.  Just wondering.

I don't know if this is a common occurance with the 360, but if it is I'm not surprised.  Perhaps it is a hardware and not the game itself.

I understand where you're coming from, but you've had the game for a while now and all of a sudden you're having problems.  I know this has happened to others and it seems like something the G-Team will investigate.  Have you tried sending a friendly reminder to feedback@goozex.com ?

Given the issues with different 360's this isn't terribly surprising - and it might have worked perfectly on the other person's console!

I would send a nice follow-up to feedback @ goozex . com worded as you have here.  They might ask you to send in your game if you want a refund.

Oh, and with PAX things are nuts for most game-related site owners.

Disc didn't look bad, it had some minor scratches but discs aren't usually affested by anything but some deep ones. It played through the begginning but now I can't get any farther

Are your other games working?  I started having this problem with one game, then two...  I finally had to send in my 360 for optical drive repairs.

Hope you aren't in the same boat.

   For President!
