I sent mine out 5 days ago. It got reached its destination in 4 days (Texas). I hope i get it back soon. At least it wasn't around October or November when all the new good games are coming out. (EndWar & GoW2), and CoD5/CoD world at war and then Fallout 3. And some more

I'd probably do the same thing. But that's kind of odd that yours went into the 3 RRoD and then out and so. I had the 3 RRoD and mine would stay in it. If it happens again, i suggest you should send it in.

Wow I am surprised people are still getting the RROD. I have had my xbox for a while now and never got it but I think I got one of the newer ones once they were realeased.

Yeah, i was surprised myself. I got it right after my other friend who had his for less than a year now. He only had it for like 6-8 months actaully, and I thought all the newer ones from like exactly a year ago wouldn't do it anymore. I got mine last year in June and got it 2 and a half weeks ago. Mine got fixed yesterday and I'm waiting for it to be shipping back.
