Simple question - what is the point of watching games when you can just put them on hold, reserving a place in the queue?
You can watch games that aren't released yet, for one thing...
Yep, when it is a pre-release you can keep an eye on it, then move it to 'Want' quickly upon release.

At one time, you could put an unlimited amount of games on hold. I believe that's no longer the case though; I believe the number is 10.
ShadowMasterX: I believe the number is 10.
I believe the number is 10.
Well that's certainly a valid reason for not putting everything on hold. Makes sense too.
Thanks guys. I swore a long time ago that I wouldn't trade games again as I've had several instances of "trader's regret" (where you suddenly want to play a game only to realize you don't have it anymore) but Goozex has changed my thinking :)

It is always easy to fall for the lure of high point trades, but I just try to ask myself if it is a 'likely replay'. Fortunately I haven't had too many that I needed to get back.
None actually ... what I had done was sold off most of my Mac games and then traded to get a bunch of them back.
I used to ponder this question too, then I figured that there are probably more games that I don't want soon, but I want to keep an eye on them.
The watch list help you remember which games you had interest in. Some games will sit "on hold" and never be traded. This new setup helps eliminate that.
