No controller has ever fit my hand as snugly as the Gamecube's controller. Too bad that it was plagued by an odd button layout, a poorly placed c-stick, and a dinky d-pad. I guess they were trying to force simplicity in game design by overemphasizing a single face button. It wasn't too horrible once you got used to it though.
The 360 controller wins for me when I weigh ergonomics and functionality together. It's not revolutionary, but it takes the most logical route and does it well. And, for the record, aside from the idiotic, miniscule, out of the way white and black buttons, I actually liked the original Xbox controller. Even more so than the smaller version they released later on. And, also for the record, I don't suffer from giganticism.
