please, please read some of the forum threads about shipping full packages more affordably.  All told, you shouldn't be paying any more than $2.50 to $3.00 for a standard console game..at least that is my high average.

How's there a way to get the full package less weight?

So you are saying that your postage weight/costs are coming to $5-6 apiece for console games?  What games are you mailing out?  Limited Editions?  Name a console game, and I'll let you know what your costs should be?  Dig up a receipt?  Are you shipping USPS and 1st Class with D.C.?

    oh im talkin pc games,

That makes sense then.  I believe most PC gamers just ship Disc and Manual, but they put the disc in a protective case and put everthing in a bubble mailer.  I'm assuming the PC box is what is pushing you over the limit for letter and you are being charged for a parcel.

Gotcha.  I mail for the most part consoles games that do not weigh more than 6 oz. at most.  I don't know how much the games that you are mailing are weighing, but there are numerous posts speaking to how to more effectively ship games, of all sorts, weights, and types.  PayPal shipping is the biggest tip.

Or PM the user, explain the expenditures in cost for sending full package...and send media mail or parcel post.  It should still get there in good time, according to Gooz rules and customs...

Definitely try cheaper mailing methods like Lurk says.  Someone sent me Betrayal at Krondor way back, with full box and strategy guide-type manual and it only cost them ~$4.

I've shipped out quite a few full package PC games, and VERY rarely spend more than $3 using USPS first class with DC.  Specific exceptions that I recall were Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Collector's Edition (which was an oversized box with extra goodies) and Space Rangers 2 Rise of the Dominators (which had a massive heavy manual) which each cost about $5 to ship.

If it's in a cheap cardboard box, flatten it down and send it in a bubble mailer, as I've had no problems sending and receiving full package games across the continent like that.  I would suggest keeping your games listed as full package and mailing them as such though, as I would think they would move much more quickly (more full package requests) than disk or disk + manual options.

    Happy Goozexing.

Even with PC games, it should not be that expensive.  I shipped out a Warcraft III Battle Chest full package media mail with delivery confirmation for $2.76....

I have a CRAPLOAD of USPS priority mail media mailers. These HAVE to be used with priority mail, right?

These are good tips on shipping pc games.  Thankfully most of my games and disc/manual or have small boxes.
