This game is pretty fun. It's like a combination of 3D Asteroids and Invaders. You can obtain 3 different power ups: Rock Crusher, Gold Melter, and Ice Blaster (or something along those lines...I know them as Green, Red, Blue). Each is used to destroy a certain type of asteroid. (BTW...I have no clue why we are shooting rocks/monsters. I don't think there is a storyline unless I missed it somewhere). You get the typical shields, life up, and bombs. A fun ability of the ship is to dash. The dash takes a while (less than 10 seconds) to recharge. So use it wisely (either to escape dangerous situations or to multiply your score on point bonuses).
Two modes of play: Single player and Coop (not split screen). Coop is fun, but extremely hectic. Bombs/Dash is shared so becareful when using the Dash ability. Since you can easily leave your partner behind in the middle of the swarmed area.
Great game for 10 bucks. There's suppose to be a single player expansion out right now and a coop expansion coming out soon. I haven't bothered to follow on those as of now.
