Question about really popular games coming to goozex?

Hey all, i just got 1000 points, and im wondering...

 

With GTA4 coming out soon, do you think GTA4 will come out on goozex within a week or so? do you think a few people will buy more copies just for goozex?

 

Could you tell me what happened last time a new release came out that was this hyped up? was there any quickly..

You just never know.  Some people might dislike the game quickly.  Some people might get an extra copy as a gift.  You just never know.  I'd say that on average for new releases we can expect copies to be released for trade, again on average, about a month after its release.  Copies of new releases have been known to be released immediately at launch, and again within a launch of a game's release.   

I imagine a few copies may trickle in from people who A) didn't love it as much as they thought or B) they beat it fast and want to unload it I wouldn't expect many people to buy it to trade

Buying a game just to trade wouldn't make much sense.  I guess if you got the game for a really good price ($40) and sent it out to get the full 1000 points.  Or they could have learned from GTA and stole a shipment and want to get rid of the game quick... but good luck with that!

I bought gta4 remembering how fun the past gta's were, but I can honestly tell you right now, I'm not really liking it.  I don't think the game's that good....but maybe it's just me.  Reminds me a lot of when I bought Gears of War back then thinking THAT game was going to be good, but it wasn't.  Just a lot of hype like with this one.  I didn't expect the graphics to be good since it's a port from the xbox version and I was right, but not only that but the frame rate is not smooth in certain situations either.  If this game stays in my collection, I'll still probably play cod4 more.  We might have the luckiest Goozer receiving a very fresh gta4 soon

Generally, for hot games, the number of copies in the wild means that it will trade rather soon in small numbers and open up to large numbers trading within two months.

I've been 70-100 deep in line for Call of Duty 4, Smash Bros Brawl, Lost Odyssey, and many other highly requested games. I've gotten all of them within two months of release.

The main advantage you have when requesting games at Goozex is that you're giving the seller a very, very fair number of points for their new games. That means people are more likely to trade them away.

With all the hype surrounding GTA, I think you'll see it trading rather quickly here, just like Brawl did. Neither is a bad game, but both are going to be played out by many owners and sent on their way for 1000 points.

the crazy amount of pre-orders and 1st week sales should help. but don't expect too much.

 just put it in your que asap then have the trades ready for it. nothing worse than missing a trade because you were short
