I know some fellow members are huge hockey fans so I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to discuss the action so far.
If you're not watching the playoffs you're missing out on same great action. As I was starting this thread Carey Price just made a rediculous behind the back play to keep the puck out of the net...looks like the Bruins are going down
I'm not a big fan of hockey but I've heared on ESPN of the upsets this playoff year.
I couldn't be happier with the playoffs so far, well I could be but I can't be too picky. My Flyers downed a pathetic caps team (except Huet who played really well) in double overtime to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
Calgary also looks like they're on the way out as San Jose showed some offence last night taking a 3-1 lead with game six back in Calgary.
I haven't been following the Avs vs. Wild or the Stars vs. Ducks but I believe both the Wild and the Ducks are down in the series. I hope the Ducks get eliminated solely because I hate Chris Pronger. How he got 10 games for stepping on somebody with his skate and Chris Simon got 30 is beyond me.

im really not sure what happened to gaborik for the wild series. kind of pissed me off. i know my neighbor has been upset being that he goes to a lot of wild games.
absolutely love vs. with my hd package, i get all of the playoff games in hd. so excellent.

I guess that happens when your Captain isn't American or Canadian, they just disappear. As Don Cherry would say they got no heart come play-off time. I think Saku Koivu is the exception.

I thought they had it in the bag last night, they were up 2-0, but I guess that's why they say that a two goal lead is the worst lead in hockey
I'm hoping the Sharks knock off the Flames tonight. Nothing against Calgary, but I'd just like to see a Colorado-Detroit series.
