I just played my first full Exhibition game. Yankees vs Rockies. Here's a good game story for you:

Wang starts the game and goes 8 innings, leaves it to the bullpun tied up 2-2. Goes into extra innings. Colorado squeaks out a run in the top of the 17th, but Giambi leads off with a smash to left to tie it back up at 3-3. Andy Pettite comes in from the pen in the top of the 19th and pitches six solid innings. After 24 grueling innings, Hideki Matsui finally comes to the plate to lead off the bottom half of the 24th and crushes one to right to send everyone home.

Player of the game? Andy Petitte in relief: 6.0 innings, 3 H, 1 BB, 4 K's, and the W.

I love this game.

I love this game. 

Sounds like a great game.

Im not one to say I told ya so, but......well, you get the picture.The only thing I can think of that 2K has on this game is the controlls. They are a little to simple for my liking, but everything else is fantastic.

I'm in. Have to choose the Mariners. I hope we're using updated rosters, as Bedard is the only shining hope the M's have going for them.

I cant wait to get this going after a pretty well played online game with taintedzodiac.

I like the fact that without a verbal agreement we both kept the ball in hitable locations, and over the plate about 95% of the time, and the score wasnt astronomical.

Anyone else want in?

Yeah, ditto on that one. I refuse to play a single GP game because I only trust users on Goozex and other sites I frequent to play a realistic game.

But, good lord... Wang's slider low and away in this is WICKED. But The Show is such a great game that it's not an automatic punchout unless you nail the delivery.

 I am probably going to pick up this and Hot Shots Golf Thursday. I tried 2K8 and it was utter crap. It actually hurt my feelings. So after I get them I will look to add you gentlemen to my PS3 friends list. I would like to join a league, but I am in the process of moving over the next month or so and do not know if will be able to handle the commitment.

 Did you guys ever start this league? I would like to join up with the Goozex MLB players and get my tail kicked in a sports game for a change. My PSN name is mafafu888 and my team would be the Mets.

I don't know, I don't have a ps3 or the game.  If you did use the Rays, you'd be in the same division as PSWii and Tainted.  Unless, the league structure is similar to that of NHL 08's.

 I may be around tonight too. I haven't played any online games yet, so I am sure I will get my donkey abused.
