I highly, highly recommend getting Professor Layton. I picked this up today because I wanted to get my hands on this game, and it is living up to the hype. A terrific puzzle game with interesting story elements and videos. The art style is to die for, and fits the DS and the DS game experience perfectly. If you liked Phoenix Wright, then you'll come to love Prof. Layton. Just watch some of the in-game vids and you'll want to play this mother.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestion.
I love it myself. Penny Arcade has a hilarious comic about it. Language is NSFW, but hilarious nonetheless.
seems kind of boring. it should have closer to 300 puzzles...

From the guy who doesn't like puzzle or Phoenix Wright games.
Man, I stuggled with that game. I always failed at puzzle solving and problem solving in school. Even after getting the answer, I would be like, "WHAT?...Huh...I still don't get it!...Couldn't it have also been this way?". I over-think and come up with unnessary scenarios. I was hoping there would be a lot more puzzles. I know it's mainly a puzzle game, but the decorating their inn room and putting together a fragmented painting was useless to me. It's a must for puzzle fans, but not so for stupid kids like me who can't accept that a puzzle has to have one rigid answer....hahahha.

Absolutely agree - I had set it aside due to heavy review / Retrospective load, and really enjoyed when I pulled it out.

In the end, I really enjoyed the game, but I agree with you. Many of the puzzles were worded very poorly. Sometimes the language was intentionally ambiguous, but not always. And this inconsistency was extremely frustrating about 20% of the way through the game.
saw the intro, wow, didn't realize ds games can play video that smoothly.

if you mean the curious village i say yes! it was a great fun and challending game i cant waint to get devils box and the time journey :D
I think you're missing the point a bit. A lot of the puzzles were word play. The key to the puzzle was in the way the wording was made.
this was a phenominal puzzle game, and it pissed me off alot. i reccomend it for anyone who likes puzzles.
there more than enough. even after you finish the game.
but i have a question. are all the weekly download puzzles gone? becasue i cant get anymore. i download and it says i have all the latest ones. thanks
