hey guys i was just wondering how many of you are going to buy extra copies of SSBB for some goozex sharing
i wont be doing this for SSBB but i was thinking about doing it for GTA4. well anyway, just leave your comment
Why would you buy another copy..for goozex points?
Isn't the point of goozex to trade your used games for points which get used for games.
But why buy a new game just to trade for another game. why dont you just buy the original game you wanted in the first place if you're going to do that?

well sorrrrry.
i've heard a couple people saying they ordered a few extra copies when it was found at walmart.com for like $30 and was just wondering. btw, why post if you think it is stupid in the first place.
I posted because I asked you why you are doing it.
Now, now, children, don't make me get the hose. (Don't ask. My friend says it. He might have stolen it from somewhere.)
Microshock was just curious, I'm sure, though perhaps he could have been a bit politer. I think the confusion is arising from the price listing mistake from Walmart.com. They aren't shipping the games at the low price, orders were cancelled. While it's true, some people do buy games on sale to make a profit in Goozex points, that isn't the case with SSBB anymore, since you'd actually take a hit if you buy it at full price.
i think the walmart deal was $20. and if you flip that for 1000pts. that a good turnover on your investment.
I would only buy games that have a killer deal. $40 CoD4 for 1000pts or something.
I wouldn't worry about the community, your used copy will eventually end up on the network. well, maybe super smash won't but other games will. that's why i actually bought my copy for $40

As far as trading new copies on Goozex, it's actually more common than you'd think. Dsicount coupons, reward certificates, etc. make it a very easy way to generate some points. For some of us, just the thrill of sending a new, unopened copy of a popular game off to someone makes us feel good inside.

Rent Silence of the Lambs sometime. As far as trading new copies on Goozex, it's actually more common than you'd think. I'm well aware how woefully ignorant I am about movies. I'm not such a big movie fan. I occasionally pop into a move theater with some friends, but otherwise, meh. My Netflix account is made up of Television Seasons and anime.

I do this quite often by looking for good deals in the classifieds. One example is that I bought a copy of Heavenly Sword for $30 and I don't even own a PS3. Traded it the same day and received 1000 points. A few weeks later, I picked up COD4 with those points, so the way I look at, I managed to get COD4 for $30 (plus shipping costs I guess)

To me that makes good business sense. flip a game to get what you really want at a lower price
I know that Circuit City is selliing the game for $49.99 plus a $10 giftcard so basically that's 40 dollars. Trade that for 1000 points (1050 if you get a tip)=$50.Thus, you make a $10 profit. I think Sam's club is selling it for $43
i did the circuit city dea. but i think it's 1 per household? anyhoo. i'm keeping my copy so no use in reposting it
I'm just plain not interested in the wii anymore. I love online and communicating with people, playing onlline multiplayer , even when playing single player, i love talking to others in chat or something.
Nintendo is so friking reluctant that it makes me mad. A year ago , I would've gladly picked up ssbb because I thought there would be some hope of an actual infrastructure something like Xbox Live even though Xbox Live is kind of a joke to me... paying to play online? Na.
It's come down to the point where I want to sell my Wii off, if you asked me that a year ago, I would've said HELL no.
Last time the wii got played was...2 months ago and that was to watch a youtube video.
Kind of off-topic there but there is one game that I want to play and that is No more Heroes. Have it on my list. : )

What I read:
RANT RANT RANT WII SUCKS RANT RANT RANT
BTW, NO MORE HEROES FTW!
I jest. Don't kill me. Or hose me. Seriously though, online is not the only point of a system. HAY, LOOK, KILL RANDOM PPLZ ONLINE YAYZ! If the game is fun, then whether it's bots or real people, playing the game is FUN. A game shouldn't have to make up for its single player deficits with the multiplayer.
Though I'm still up for some Team Fortress 2, if anyone wants.
