Must be because he is a quarterbacks coach and they must be hoping he can get the most out of Campbell.
This did kind of leave me scratching my head. Too bad Gibbs didint want to stick around for another year. Next year is going to bring a slwe of new head coaches in cluding Bill Cower.

I really didn't see that one coming, but I've stopped being surprised by anything Snyder does. At least he doesn't write his head coach's resignation letter.

It doesn't surprise me that Mr. Idiot and his racquetball boyfriend decided on a QB coach to take over the team. It is really ridiculous that they also steamrolled over the Pro Bowl and the last of the Taylor remembrances for the year...after the year that the 'Skins had. This is also as big of a goof as the A-Rod news during the World Series. How quickly the 'Skins have become a classless organization.
I just don't understand Dan Snyder and Vinnie Cerrato. They admittedly "fall in love" with people over the course of 40 hour homevisits. What the hell? Executives who are hired for multi-billion dollar corporations have normal interviews and interview processes. Where the heck is the need for a "sleepover" party? I just don't get it. This just borders on insanity. This is football. Money is on Clinton Portis walking out on the coach, and the team following suit shortly thereafter. This team is sunk for another 5 years by this decision.

We did go after spags. The deal breaker with him was that we had already hired Dcoord and Ocoord. Yes, at first I thought, god what an idiot thing for snyder to do. But honestly, the guy cant just sit around and hope that he gets his pick of the litter. Danny boy interviewed a good amount of people from the time gibbs resigned and the time he fired the coordinators.
On the Head coach hiring......I dont think this is a bad move. This guy has got good pedigree and look what he has done with matt hassleback (whom i think is a terrible athlete and not a good QB). Remember Joe Gibbs when he was first hired? He was a nobody and definitly not an owner favorite or fan favorite. According to alot of people, this was not completely dan snyders first pick. He had some favorites that didnt pan out.
I think all in all, dont get negative with a coach that has nothing but solid background until he puts up his stuff. Lets give this guy a shot and see what he can do. I know im excited to see where he can take the team.

Please tell me your kidding. JC is a stud. I wonder how other QBs would have faired with the same experience he has had. Half his O-Line was decimated this year and he has had 6 Offensive coordinators beginning his freshman year in College. If there is one guy I gotta credit, that is JC for being able to learn and grasp playbooks that quickly. I think the skins are fortunate to have such a great young QB in the works.

I am 100% serious he sucks come on. When he got hurt some old man that hasn't played for 10 years came in and put him to shame. He needs to go and fast or make him a backup not the starter.
