What are some awesome GC games you've played and beated? What about bad ones? Here are some of mine:

-Zelda: the Wind Waker -good, but kind of dull towards the end, though.

-Metroid Prime -excellent throughout the entire game!

-Super Mario Sunshine -cute, fun, I never felt bored.

-Animal Crossing -entertaining in short bursts. boring after a while.

Well, what are your choices? List GameCube EXCLUSIVES ONLY; games that you have played to the end (unless they don't end like in Animal Crossing).

I had a GC but never playd a lot of the games on it. Resident Evil 4 was incredible, my wife even liked it.

I'm intersted in what others think are good GC games i have the Wii and it sits idle a lot due to lack of Wii games i'm interested in.

Mario Kart Double Dash - I still love it! Wind Waker - It was lots of fun, though I lent it out and still need to finish it up. Mario Golf: TT - deceptively fun golf. I think I'm the one of the only Nintendo fans who doesn't understand the draw of Super Smash Bros. Melee.

I'm going a bit more obscure than the biggies....

Ikaruga (exclusive in the States, JAP DC import)

    Baten Kaitos & Origin

    Tales of Symphonia

    DK: Jungle Beat

    Yes

Ikaruga will cost many a pretty penny however, and its a 1000 pt game here. I love it though.

Ditto for Tales, nearly any Tales game is good fun.

But besides first party titles and the few outstanding third-party games, there are a lot of mediocre titles on the Cube. Ah well.

Oh, throw Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (uses MGS2 engine in a remake of MGS) and Pokemon Box there too, but only because the latter is so gosh-darn prohibitively expensive.

    Super Monkey Ball 2!

That game was phenomenally fun and frustrating at the same time. Unfortunately every Super Monkey game since then has pretty much just been balls :(

You can count me in on Super Smash Bros Melee as well. Whatever was so fantastic about that game I just couldn't find it.

I did really enjoy Luigi's Mansion too... forgot about that one.

Animal Crossing! It's the reason I bought a GC in the 1st place. I also like Super Monkey Ball, Donkey Konga & Odama.

I never used my Gamecube much, but the Worms games on GCN probably got the most play at my house, since my wife liked to play them against me.  I think one or two may have been exclusive to the Cube.  Was Worms Blast released on PS2 or Xbox?  Worms 3D was good on the Cube but I think it came out on PS2 and Xbox eventually as well.

I also liked Puyo Pop Fever, which I don't think was on any other console.  Super Mario Sunshine was good...but I got stuck halfway through the game and never ended up finishing it.  The same thing happened to me with Super Princess Peach and New Super Mario Bros. although I did make it to the last level on those.  I just don't have the patience to repeat a level 20 times to beat it like I did when I was younger.  If I can't beat it in a few tries, I usually give up.

I liked Eternal Darkness and the Resident Evil remake.

    Ressurecting an old thread :

I second the RE remake as well as RE : Zero plus I always liked Luigi's Mansion.

It's fun to play, who cares about the graphics! Solatso

I'll have to give Luigi's Mansion another go...maybe my expectations were too high the first go-around.  I enjoyed watching a friend play it though, a couple years back.  I'll definitely try it again, sometime.

Luigi's Mansion was title that I missed, but I just got it through Goozex recently. I'm going to have to give it a spin soon. I enjoyed Super Mario Sunshine! The Resident Evil and Metal Gear remake were cool too!
