Greetings Goozexers!I wanted to give something back to this fine community (especially after feeling bad that I did a bit of unnecessary, flaming drunken posting last week *cough cough* Sorry SMX). Since I don’t plan to do this kind of thing very often I thought I’d break out the big bucks and offer a $100 Best Buy Gift Card reward to the winner!The contest will be a silly story game. I will begin a story about the beloved Goozex monster, and everyone who wishes to enter the contest must simply post 1 sentence continuing the story, and please quote the previous sentence in the story yours is following. The sentence must be 15 words or less, and please don’t use hyphens to-try-to-add-more-than-15-words-in-a-sentence. Hyphenated compound words will count as two words. A contestant may contribute to the silly story as many times as they wish, but entries cannot be placed back to back. In other words if you write a sentence for the story you must wait until someone else contributes to the story before you contribute again. If you wish to chat in the thread please put non-story related chat in parenthesis (like this).I have chosen a word from the English language, and the first person to use that word in one of their story entries wins the prize! If nobody stumbles upon the right word by 12:01 A.M. next Friday morning (February 1st), Mountain Time, I will put one copy of everyone’s name who contributed in a hat and draw a winner randomly. If any Goozex mod or admin would like to volunteer to help, and forgo their chance to win the prize, please send me a PM, and I will PM you back with the word I have chosen (guard it with your life!). (heh yeah this kind of thing never works out perfectly... but with some creativity we can reconcile all the story lines... it doesn't have to always make sense.)
