If you've played any other Time Crisis game, the same formula is used here. There's a couple of additions like the first person control that you're given in another mode. I found that pretty interesting and gameplay has been slowed down a lot for it. Arcade mode on the other hand, has a lot of scenes with back to back enemies and almost non-stop shooting. I've always been a fan of the light gun games (I have most of them on the PS2) and this one is a nice addition. The gun looks pretty bulky but is surprisingly light (maybe because I'm comparing it to the real thing).
The mini games are challenging. So far, all I've unlocked were shooting certain colored discs at different variations: pop-up, skeet, and rotating.
I had originally added this game to my requested list but saw it was getting pretty terrible reviews online and in magazines.
v1lakon3, do you feel the game is worth its purchase price? Does it have multiplayer capability?

With multiplayer, you can use another gun and you'll get a split screen. I'm not sure if you can use two guns with one screen like some other games. For $80 bucks, I think it's a little steep to have only one game and rumors of other guncon games might have compatability issues. The critics have always been harsh on guncon games so I didn't expect anything new with this one. Its pretty much the same Time Crisis formula (peek and shoot) with vamped up graphics.
I would only recommend this for guncon fans. I love shooting in real life and in video games. I'll shoot all day long at the range and not get tired of it. Then I can go home and shoot some more with a guncon or FPS game and still not get tired of it. I'll even pop in a couple of bucks on a arcade game and shoot on that too.
I have been matched with this game today, Is this game expected to ship with peripherals (gun)?
Full package should, the retail version comes with the gun.
