This is a surprisingly decent game, certainly not top-tier, but good enough to have fun with. Especially at 150 points. I got a few missions in before other games called me away, but it's been on my mind to come back to.

The story and graphics aren't much to write home about (although the graphics are fine in a functional way and occasionally impress) so that leaves the gameplay.  Every battle turn you draw from your deck of cards that you've put together beforehand. Cards let you move units and attack as well as perform special actions or particularly powerful attacks. There's a number of different unit types with a fairly standard rock/paper/scissors core. As you progress through the story you fight different scenarios with different approaches needed each time (at least the scenarios I saw) and get new cards to tweak your deck. The AI seemed decent, punishing my troops fairly heavily when I made an error, although probably not as vicious as it could have been (although it too is reliant on cards, I believe). Also, there seem to be a few strategies based on what type of cards you use, so deck-building is more than a formality.

All in all it plays like a light war-themed boardgame and CCG put together into a pleasing whole. If you're sick of Advance Wars, Age of Empires, and Fire Emblem and need something a bit different this might be a good fix for your strategy needs.
