Hi,
I just recently discovered the paypal shipping label creator thanks to this site. To make life a little easier, I created a greasemonkey script which adds a "ship with paypal" button to the Goozex shipping page. It doesn't have many features as of yet, but it's still pretty handy. Feel free to try it out and post your feedback here.

Awesome. Now if only I could figure out how to freakin' USE the greasemonkey addon...

Ah, I hadn't used the 'install this script' button before. Very convenient!
The button took me to the PayPal login screen, very nice!
I probably should have put some instructions and stuff in there, huh?
First of all, in order for this script to be of any use to you, you really need to have a Goozex account (done, you're reading this) and a PayPal account.
Now, what is GreaseMonkey? GreaseMonkey is an add-on for Firefox (only) which allows you to run custom javascript code on any web page out there on the tubes. There are TONS of user submitted scripts and some of them are even useful. A great place to find scripts is at UserScipts.org. Be careful before you start installing scripts, as some scripts can degrade the performance of Firefox significantly, and (unfortunately) some people have uploaded scripts that attempt to steal your browser cookies. In other words, don't go installing Greasemonkey scripts all willy nilly, there can be reprecussions.
So, now that I've completely talked you out of installing Greasemonkey, here are the installation instructions.
Step 1:
Install the Greasemonkey Add-on for Firefox
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
Step 2:
Install the Ship with PayPal script for Greasemonkey

Once you've installed the Ship with PayPal script, you will see a green button (looks just like every other button on Goozex's site) under the user's address on the page where you would normally go to print Goozex shipping labels. The page has the heading of "TRADE ACCEPTED".
When you click on this new button, it'll scrape the user's address from the Goozex page and open the PayPal Shipping Label maker page with that user's address info already filled in.
I will try to add some new features, such as the ability to set shipping defaults which will automatically get filled in as well. Evenutally, I think this script could be pretty darn useful.
Excellent work. I think that a badge should be headed your way, but that's just my two pence. Anyhow, thanks for the useful script. I plan to set this up tonight following your easy to follow directions. Umm, we should probably sticky this somewhere or duplicate it elsewhere, as this is a keeper posting.

Ok, I've updated the script so that it sets some defaults on the PayPal Shipping Label page. The next step will be to make these defaults configurable by the user. In order to update the script if you've already installed it, just go back to the script's home page and click the "Install this script" button again. It'll overwrite the current script.
Wow.. nice work. Maybe it's time I stopped using Internet Exploder.

This is genius. Thanks!

Haha, you should have stopped using Internet Explorer a loooooong time ago.
I have to say that this is one of the most useful scripts I have installed in a long time. And I use them everyday for Kingdom of Loathing. Thank you so much.
Anyone having any trouble actually shipping through PayPal in the past day or so?
I've updated the script to its latest version...
I haven't had any trouble, recently. I tend to use this script on a daily basis, so I will spot trouble pretty quickly when it occurs. I will say that this script doesn't always work. I try REALLY hard to make the script work with as many different address formats as possible, but ultimately, people can enter their address in a free form manner so this is actually quite a chore.
This is also why I still only have a script that will work for US addresses. It's hard enough to figuring out how to parse those, if I were to try to parse international addresses too, I'd never have time to play any of the games that I get through Goozex. =)

Hehe. Sorry about that. Well, the script chokes on enough addresses that it should still keep things fairly interesting. And Paypal's international shipping options are TERRIBLE, so I still have to go to the post office when sending stuff out of the US to get a half-way decent rate...which is, ultimately, why I haven't dedicated much time to updating the script to work with international addresses.
Is there any way you could edit this so that it inputs the address line 2, such as apartment, automatically?
I imagine this may also be a sugestion for Goozex, as far as I can tell Goozex's address system expects people to put their entire address in one line...
Still loving the script.
