Hey everyone,

It looks like I might have created an issue here.  First, an MVP badge has not been created yet.  In a combination of time and rethinking the badge (with newly created [GOZX]) I simply haven't issued the new ones.  

Second, my question is should a MVP badge be created?  Vote here: http://www.goozex.com/community/forums/p/22899/68876.aspx#68876

Please discuss the MVP badge idea on that thread.

I noticed animallyson has a "Top Seller" badge. And I didn't see it on the original badge description page (http://www.goozex.com/community/forums/t/6646.aspx).  I was wondering of there were any other badges that exist that aren't listed on the badges page?

On a different note: I would suggest maybe creating a badge for those with most active games in their offers list with maybe a 95% trade acceptance rate or higher and with a low offer timeout percentage as well. This might promote people to list more of their games and accept more.

I know that eventually people would get the goozex veteran badge for doing this, but this would be more aimed at pormoting and encouraging people to put more games up for trade (and actually accept them - although I know there are certain reasons why you wouldn't want to accept, hence the 95%) initially so that we can get more veterans out there


Maybe badges for:

most tips given
most tips received
most friend referrals
most reviews
most active user of site features
most trade credits purchased
most points purchased
most site suggestions that actually became implemented

I guess I shouldn't have "most" at the beginning of all those, but an appropriate number which would obviously be decided by the G team.

Another suggestions would be to list the badges in peoples forum and trader profiles so that people can see them there as well.  There are of course a lot of people who don't use the forums that might see the badges on the trader profile and want to learn more. This might help in the building of the forum community.

Actually, I love the idea of the site suggestions that become implemented. "Most suggestive" would be hilarious.

Not sure I really care but I should have qualified for a Goozex Vet Badge months ago but it still doesn't show up.

How are traders reps even scored anyway?

Please do a forum search...or ask the forum detective. 

If memory serves me (it often doesn’t)

1 egg = Feedback score 10

2 eggs = Feedback score 50

3 eggs = Feedback score 150

4 eggs = Feedback score 500

5 eggs = Feedback score 1000

But the correct version is out in the forums somewhere, if this is wrong.

Silentshawn possess the prowess of sleuth like no other.  I believe that those feedback scores per egg are correct, as discovered in ancient quests of eggdom from this thread... here.

Heh.  It's funny how a little thing like an icon under your name will get people to post or participate more.  It works almost as well as giving away prizes.  More boards should take advantage of this concept.

Agreed!  I miss cart00strip, Meadow, txa1265, and the handful of other early forum pioneers.

It's nice to  see that PieMonster and animallyson are a bit active again.
