I had quite a bit of fun with this one. I'm not a big fan of the hyper-realistic racing games like Forza, so the Burnout series is right up my alley. The graphics are just gorgeous in HD and you get a real sense of breakneck speed.

Since this is a bargain title now, it's a great game to just pick up and add to your collection. My only complaint is that most of the achievements are geared towards online multi-player, rather than single-player. This seems to be trend with 360 game overall however, so I can't really single out Burnout.

Agreed on the achievements, a lot of games I don't get too many points because I only tend to play on Live with a few core people that I actually know. I'm not a big hop on and see who I meet player (mainly because anytime I do that I always seem to find hateful, racist, immature kids and/or college students. This game is *** though, I mean your freakin goal is to smash the hell out of everyone on the road. Who hasn't wanted to do that! A launch game and it still plays tighter and looks better than half the junk out there on the 360. I play this with a Speed Freek and it rocks.

Burnout Revenge was fun, but I thought that the pinnacle of the series would be Burnout 3.  I suggest that you all try that game, as it really makes this game pale in comparison.  The graphics are marginally better in this next-gen sequel, but the difficulty and gameplay of the third in the series is more balanced...top notch to be truthful.  You will obsess over Burnout 3, and I really think that Burnout Revenge may be leading the series in a bad direction a la Carbon for the NFS series.
