General Rules for the entire Goozex Forum 

Welcome to the Goozex Forum! Here in the Announcements forum, users are able to post comments pertaining to Announcements brought to you by the Goozex Team.

This forum is ONLY to be used for Announcement related discussions.
If you have a question regarding your experience with the Goozex site, its features or something general, please visit the Help & Support forum. (Before making a new post, search through previous posts to check that your question has not been brought up, or better yet, answered.)
If you believe that you have come across a serious problem or glitch with either the Goozex site or forums, please let the staff know by emailing them at forum AT goozex.com. When emailing the staff, please be very clear and detailed about your description of the problem and/or glitch.

If you notice another Goozex member flaming, spamming, posting obscene pictures and any other inappropriate material that does not comply with the Terms of Use , please select/click on the “Report Abuse to a Moderator” link at the bottom of the post in question.
If you would like to make a post or read topics other than gaming or if you‘re new and just want to say hello and chat about anything with users, you may post it on the Other Interests forums.

Rules For Posting

•    Do not ignore moderator/admin warnings.
Any posts/comments that, in mods/admins sole judgment, appear to violate the Forum Rules may be deleted without notice. Goozex reserves the right to end any posting privileges and limit or terminate access to anyone for any reason at any time without notice.

•    Mistreatment or abuse of Goozex staff is strictly prohibited.
Goozex Moderators/admins are here to help out the community. At no point do they deserve abuse. On another end, if you feel you are being unfairly treated by moderators or admins please contact NinjaJ, the Goozex Community Manager.

•    Warning! Do not! Post anything racist in nature, including pictures and comments. No sexual harassment or personal threats. This will not be tolerated; therefore it will result in permanent ban from the forums.

•    Limit your flaming.
Controversial or hot discussions are welcome at Goozex, but directly insulting or badmouthing another member is not. Please do not humiliate or discourage other members on the forum by commenting to their posts with things such as "You are a "dumbass", etc. Avoid excessive cursing when posting on the forums. If you commit this act, moderators have ground for post deletions and/or permanent bans.

•    Be aware of where and what you are posting!
Do not generate unnecessary comments/threads with no redeeming value to the community or yourself (SPAM) such as 'Get a Free Wii from me!'? This also pertains to bump posts, to get your thread to the top, one is ok, but when it becomes a repetitive occasion, you run the risk of having your thread or comment removed. DO NOT produce off-topic threads or posts. That’s what the Off Topic boards are for. Same with Wii threads on the Playstation threads or Comics threads on a TV section. Please make an effort to stay on the topic you are posting in reference to the thread.

•    Do not cause trouble on the forum. Being a trouble maker just because you feel like it is a great way to get immediately removed from the forum. DO NOT create inflammatory posts obviously intended to start a fight or get a reaction. Malicious users or those that obviously signed up to ridicule others will get banned on the spot, without warning.

•    No Porn/Nudity
Warning! Any type of post that includes pornographic/hentai sites or images will be immediately removed as well as the author too. DO NOT post, link or make available anything that could be considered, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, and offensive or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party, in violation of the law or in violation of any of the other forum rules. Avatars that contain nudity, sexually explicit materials or sexual acts are prohibited.

•    No CD cracks, hacks, or "warez."
Do not discuss or post links to sites that have software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of publicity) that could potentially violate copyright laws. If you think it's a questionable link, don't post it. Do not ask for CD keys or help with mod chips. Goozex has a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding video game and any other type of piracy!

•    Advertising will result in deletions, locks, and bans.
DO NOT create advertisement threads/posts for off site things such as clubs, websites, contests, etc. (NOTE: You may advertise your personal site in your signature.) DO NOT send unsolicited private messages to our members advertising things such as off site clubs, contests, etc.

•    Lastly, when you registered with these forums, you agreed to the Terms of Use, and all material submitted to the forums are subject to the TOU, which is located here: Terms of Use

If you're unsure about something you're about to post, you probably shouldn't post it. You're always welcome to ask a mod before posting if you're unsure.
