This sounds like a great promotion.  I was interested in buying Goozex gear, but this will get my lazy arse motivated to place a order this weekend.

Here are my two boys in their Goozex shirts!  9 and 10 years old respectively.  And before you ask, my younger son has a best friend who has had chemo for Leukemia on two occasions since they became friends in preschool, and my wife lost her dad to cancer last fall, so he is growing his hair for 'Locks of Love' - it gives wigs to cancer patients.

WooHoo - thanks ... I suppose it is only fitting to get something for *them* - which puts me in line for one of the Wii games Big Smile (Paper Mario - I know this has come up, but having so many people in line that all you get is (long wait) is hilarious!)

Thanks!  Interestingly that picture was after we came back from getting our hair cuts last night!  Yeah, my son takes a lot of crap about his hair, and is regularly called a girl (at 9 it is hard to know sometimes).  We would gladly cut it off if he wanted to, but he keeps persevering.  I think in the end he will learn a lot from this.

It's sad that you had to defend your son't hair regardless of the cause or reason.  I, too, am embarrassed that I was thinking that your son looked like a girl, due to the long hair.  But thanks for clarifying the situation.  It is a wonderful cause your son is supporting, and it is an even better sign of support that your son is standing up for.  He is developing such great character and resolve, and I commend you and your wife's parenting thus far.  My wife has been growing her hair out for "locks of love", and it is a tedious wait...but we know that the payoff is well-worth it.

you should just remind your kids they are setting the trend.  Most of us in college didn't cut our hair and just grew it really long anyways.  Then lots of us started losing our hair so cutting it bald was the way to go.

I gotta look into that.  makes you wonder why cut your hair ever 2 weeks when you can donate it.

I can't donate my hair, it's too processed :(

Any of the ladies have shirts? if so, can you let me know how they run size-wise? I want to order, but I'm a beast to fit well, and like my clothes not to look to schlubby, hahaha.
