Whoa... seriously? I spent all morning looking through their site trying to find how to set that ball in motion and all I found was a listing in their FAQ that said they didn't do price matches (which I can only assume is vs. competitors then). If you have that info on how to go about it handy I'd bevery gratefull Goomba!

It looks like the deal is dead now on the Legendary Edition for $59.99, they must have sold out. The rep I talked to said he could not locate that price and tried telling me that I must have been looking at a used item or a non-Amazon seller. Wehn I went to bring up the deal of the day to show him, it is now the Halo 3 Limited Edition for $49.99.
Luckilly I had ordered that second copy of the Halo 3 Legendary Edition this morning, so I told the rep to look at my order history and he was able to confirm the price from this morning's order and then process the $20 refund.
Great deal. I bet all the Halo fanboys who bought this for $145 with tax on release are probably upset. I have no urge to get this, except for maybe putting the helmet on my dog or trying to resell it for more on ebay.

I'm a Halo-hater of the first degree, but I couldn't even pass up this deal. The game collector in me apparently edges out the Halo-hater in me.
After seeing how terribly the Legendary Edition of the game sold, I wonder if we have seen the last of the mega-collector's editions (hopefully).

I love Halo don't get me wrong, but I am in no way a fanboy. Anyone who was dumb enough to waste $145 on the legendary was undoubtedly a fanboy. I definatly recommend you try it out cause the Halo series are some of the best FPSs to date. That being said, I enjoy COD4 more then Halo 3 currently.
