I paid $150 to buy this and this i think should be changed for 1000 to 4000pts games like bioshock which are 64 are 900pt that seems unfair to me.

Currently, there is a 1000 point cap on all games. This cap is being discussed at the moment. Regardless, if you ever feel as if the point value does not measure up to the real world value, there is no obligation to trade that particular game here.
In regards to your Halo Legendary edition, you paid $120 for the item brand new. You will never get that amount, and you probably cannot expect to get even $79 as Amazon is selling your beloved set brand new for that amount tax free (for most of us) and with free shipping. It seems as if Microsoft snookered a lot of people out of $40 under the threat of it being "limited".

Dude youreplay sounds like a fanboys replay i love xbox 360 and ps3 so please don't replay to my topics with fanboy comments. I was asking this b/c even the $70 value is $20 less then 1050 goozex points ($50) a full game that is used after a month, but a UNOpened Halo 3 LE should be at least 3000pts $50x3, and btw EB Games and Gamestop charged $149.99 after tax not $120 on launch. Im keeping it until i reach 89yr of age to sell it.
I assure you there was no fanboy comments to be had there. I have both systems as well. I was simply making fun of all of us who are fooled when mass market companies threaten consumers with the false claim of being "limited". The Halo 3 Legendary set is no where near limited nor is difficult to find...and it is freely being still sold at about half its initial price. About $20 for the helmet, which feels about right.
Anyhow you again are assuming that you will receive full value as if it were brand new. As stated earlier, there is a 1000 point cap for all things. Even the much more coveted Guitar Hero sets with Guitar. The 1000 point cap is something on the table. Anyhow, nobody is under any obligation to trade anything here. It is in the best interest of all involved, even Goozex, to accurately price games/sets. Ideally, the Halo 3 Legendary Set would fall somewhere in the 1400-1600 point range considering the extra value of the cat helmet and the additional costs for mailing the bigger box. But again, these are just my thoughts.
1. The word you are looking for, I believe, is reply. Not replay. Two very different words.
2. Lurk happens to be one of, if not the most helpful person on the forums here. He gave you a response explaining why the Legendary is unlikely to have its value upped. In addition, you say that your game is worth more because it's unopened- well, that's not Goozex's fault you haven't opened. 99% of Goozex trading is done with used games. There is no extra value for games that are unopened. The most you can expect is a tip from your buyer for sending a sealed game, and that's not even required. And really, why should the game be $150 in points if you can get it now for $80 used? If games went buy how much they were priced when they launched, you wouldn't see many 100 point games.
3. Like Lurk said, there are other outlets to unload your game if you don't find the Goozex pont value for this game to be to your liking. Especially if you plan to wait long enough for a game to make you a profit, seeing as Goozex is for getting new games, and not for making money. If you ask a question, and someone takes the time to respond to you, you shouldn't act rudely towards them. Lurk was just stating a fact that Microsoft wanted to make a quick buck off of the Halo 3 craze, and a lot of people fell for it.
4. Had you looked around the forums before raising your pitchfork and demanding indignantly that you get your way with a service which is here to save you money, you'd see that the 1000 point cap has been discussed and there is a reason for it. Making a new thread won't get you your way faster. Besides, there are others games which would benefit more from having the point cap unlocked, like the Rock Band bundle. It's always a good idea to check around to see if your question has been asked before. The search function at the top of the screen is quite useful.
5. Have a good night. Remember, the cake is a lie.
Edit: 6. D'oh! Lurk beat me to a response. That's the downside about writing these long posts... you just know someone is going to make your whole post pointless with a much more concise post thta is made before you even finish yours. >.<
You are still the man, ShadowMasterX. Your words are worth every bit the merit, so you keep on with your bad self with your comprehensive and informative answers/replies. They are a real asset to the Goozex forums. I've become concise in my old age.
Well he sounds like a fanboy to me :P
The sky is falling on the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. Now it is $60 brand new and shipped from Amazon. Hurry, run, if you don't have your cat helmet yet, as this is identical to the cost of the regular game alone.
Wow, that is a heck of a deal.
I don’t see anyway that the legendary edition will go for 4000 points, and now that it is available at such a discount probably won’t go above 1000 points. I think the games that may have the cap lifted on are Rock Band SE and GH with the guitar; because of its cost and cost to ship. Now that Halo 3 LE can be had for $60 it is just the cost of added shipping that will differentiate it from the other games. Your best bet may be that auction site, but I can’t see you getting you $150 back on the game.
A couple things you should keep in mind while on these forums:
First and foremost; this is not like most other forums, name calling and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Goozex is a friendly place that has been and will remain free of such things. Just because you don’t get an answer you like there is no need to resort to such things.
Second, we are here to help and answer questions because we are gamers, and love this site and its service. Please continue to ask question you have and we will help but there is no need to be defensive you won’t run into the immaturity that plagues other gaming forums.
Other than this SMX has summed things up well.

I believe that the deal was available for Amazon.ca also. You might want to look into it, but I imagine that both sites are sold out by now.
Here is a article for this deal, but its Best Buy Canada ($99)
