Hey Guys,I'm the proud owner of Guitar Hero 1-3 for various systems, and while I'm not ready to trade the game just yet, I may very well want to down the road. I'm curious what you would recommend for shipping Guitar Hero as the box is pretty long but very thin. Stores like Staples sell a lot of large boxes but that seems overkill for such a thin package. Do you know anywhere to obtain/buy a box that'd be more fitting for a Guitar Hero box? Fill me in if you can. Thanks!I can get the dimensions if necessary :)
For those of you who will be mailing out Guitar Hero III boxes, (or any Guitar Hero Games) know that the boxes measure as such:28" long x 12" wide x 3" (well like 2.8") high. After wrapping the item in bubble wrap and using newspaper as padding, I was able to find a single box that is 30x15x4 but unfortunately they don't seem to sell these size boxes in stores. I'd love to know how you guys who have shipped out the game + controller have done so. Thanks!Sincerely,JJ Parks :)
I was lucky and had a thin rectangular box from something else I had ordered. Shredded paper or newspaper is an okay, cheap fill especially if you can't find a box with a good fit. Bubblewrap is better, but I try to keep that to a minimum to save costs.
