Ok, I got my bubble mailers today, but dont have a scale yet, so I'm going to take it to the post office and have them postage it for me. But I went on ahead and accepted a trade for a 100 point game, and im worried, because the guy is a straight 0 feedback, and his account is a month old. Do you think it will be Ok to send to this guy? I know ill get my feedback eventually, but I hate the idea of waiting half a month in case he is the kinda guy who signs up, and forgets about it.

Also, I have never mailed a package through the post office before that I haven't pre posted, do post offices take debit? or should I get some cash out of the bank?

Sorry for the jumbliness, im in a slight hurry.

-Jinxt

Oh! and also, how many trades must i make before my max trade limit goes up?

Get deliver confirmation if you are worried, and the post office takes debit cards. At least the one near me does. I think at 20 feedback you get one more trade slot for both sending and receiveing.

Welcome!

Remember, we all come on to this site with 0 feedback. I didn't move my first game for about 1 - 2 months main reason being I didn't want to put up my good games until I knew the site was legit.

The usps near me all have mailing stations. You don't even have to wait in the "normal" line. It's a portable mailing station that you place your package on, weigh it, and it takes credit card. It then spits out the correct postage and you just drop it off in the bin next to it.

Use paypal shipping. There is a huge forum here about it. Saves me hours. I only go to the post office if I'm mailing that is huge like a car seat.

OK thanks, guys, especially you spooon for supplying the feedback requirements list. I'm glad I'm not restricted to one trade right now. One more question though:

How much does a typical game and package usually weigh? I'd do it myself, but cant expect my postage scale to come in till sometime next week.

Just as a side note.  USPS is an independent agency, not technically part of the Federal Govt.

I'm not sure for your stuff, but I just mailed out Valhalla Knights 2 for the PSP, full package in a standard bubble mailer, and it weighed 4.3oz.

Definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY recommend getting Delivery Confirmation - especially if you have any concerns about the other trader.

My full package console games run around 6-7 oz. (on the high side).
