In the past, I've only sent out games and never ordered them. So I put a bunch of games on request for later, and didn't know that if someone said they'd send it, I didn't have to confirm that I still wanted it. So I moved all my games to On Hold except for the two which already had traders. For one, he'd already said he'd send and I asked for cancellation, he later accepted.
For the other, I asked for cancellation during the 20 something hours where it waits for the shipper to accept the trade. He then accepted it and said he'd send it out in 3 days. Again I requested a confirmation, and just a few days ago I got the game in.
So I'm wondering if it would be acceptable for me to give bad feedback, or should I just take the point/trade hit and give him good feedback?
A cancellation request is just that - a request. Do any of the negative feedback options even come close to describing this situation? A negative is completely unjustified. You're basically stuck chalking this up to a learning experience and trying to relist the game yourself if you really don't want it.
If there is nothing wrong with the game, please leave positive feedback for the shipper. I believe leaving improper feedback is a violation of the ToS. You can always relist the game if you don't want the game anymore.
You can leave negative feedback for that. He did his part of the trade and sent it. So no, leaving bad feedback would be stupid.
That happened to me once before too, request a game forget about it and then BAM there it is. As other posters have said just leave the appropiate feedback and relist the game if it's something your not interested in.
I just noticed I said "You can leave negative feedback," I meant "can't." In before someone flames.
