dude, a video game trading website isn't the worst website to get help for flash cs3, but it certainly isn't the best. try wikihow.com or wikianswers.com

Is there something specific you'd like to learn?

I would just jump right in, fire up some tutorials and use google to no end

thats how I learned :)

but if you have specific questions, post em and I'll do my best to answer. Keep in mind though I use Photoshop primarily from a photographers perspective (though I've been using Lightroom lately more and more).

oops, I thought you meant Photoshop CS3- not flash :)

my bad.

anyhow, what you are looking for is the Alpha channel for the image / text you want to fade in/out

You may have to convert the image/text to a symbol first, not 100% sure about that (i dont use flash too often) - to do this just right click on your object in the movie and choose 'convert to symbol'

anyhow, I'm assuming you know how to deal with keyframes and motion tweening, so just go to the keyframe where you want the symbol faded out then look for COLOR in the property window.

choose Alpha from the drop down list and then adjust it to your liking.

hope that helps :)

i dont really understand what you are saying. I just ended up using adobe imageready from the 7.0 version, it is so much simplier to make it.

Flash just utilizes the basic notion of keyframes... so yeah, if you couldn't understand what he was saying, you should just use something different or start at the very beggining with tutorials.

Local community colleges have classes too.
