Hi.  Quick question for you all.  New member here, and although I've gotten a few trades under my belt, I just yesterday received my first game.  Now, I'm a bit confused as to what feedback I should give the seller.  I'll explain the issues I have, then I'd be most thankful for your opinions.

First, I had requested a full package game.  Now, I did receive a disc, and a manual, and even a case of sorts.  The case, however, is severely broken.  The bottom is completely gone, and the prongs in the center will not even hold the disc.  Personally, I would never have listed this as a full package, as the case in my view is unusable, making it a disc + manual.  It also was not broken en route, as there are no pieces within the packaging; it was packed up like this.

Second, and this one's kind of iffy.  I had requested the Gold Edition of Marvel Ultimate Alliance.  What I received was the Platinum Hits Special Edition version of the game.  Now, functionally, it should work the same, as the special edition has all the features of the Gold Edition.. but I hate the games on my shelf to have that platinum hits logo.  I mean, I wanted the gold edition, which is why I requested the gold edition.  It seems that perhaps the seller should have sent a PM beforehand saying this was technically the Special Edition, and is that alright. 

Anyways, I'm rambling now, but thanks for your time and thoughts.

Me personally I would try to PM the user about sending the game back and canceling the trade, if he rejects to pay shipping or take it back I guess you would have to put Neutral for wrong game, but your still out off your points if that's what you are wanting back, best bet would be 1st option, or email feedback@goozex.com and see if they can help mediate, but you really can;t leave negative in this instance as the game looks like it works?

Games traded on Goozex are really meant for playing and not for collecting. Unless the Platinum Hits was meant for the original and not the Gold Version, then I'm sorry, you did receive the correct game. Would it have been nice to be notified of the package? Yes, but not many people worry about Platinum Hits and what nots.

I know the Gold Version is suppose to contain more content than the original, so if the Platinum contains the same content, then neutral is your needed feedback. Be sure to leave a detailed comment.

Well, I didn't want to leave a negative, as I did receive the game, and functionally (it appears to be free from scratches) it is virtually the same thing.  The Special Edition contains the extra content of the Gold Edition.  I was leaning towards a neutral, but wanted to hear what you all had to say about it.  Being my first feedback I leave for someone, I just want to make sure I start off on the right foot, and athough I've read the faqs and help sections, this seemed to me to be in a grey area.

I would definitely PM the person and start the discussion there - be polite and descriptive like you were here, and things should hopefully go well.

you may also wish to point him towards the thread stating that feedback guidelines are changing, to show him that he may need to be more careful when sending a game; being that "wrong game received" is no longer going to be a neutral
