i am newbie here and extremely confused.... i understand about the points and trade credits but what it doesn't state anywhere that i can see is how much will shipping cost me to get my game? all i want is to do is purchase games here since it looked like it was going to be a bargain but now i'm not so sure ......i don't even know how much it would cost me just for my free game for joining???......even if i did purchase some extra points to get a higher value game i just have no idea how much shipping will be for my area (canada) not to mention that i saw a lot of games for regular xbox and ps2 for like 100 points and 150 points and 200 points but if i buy 2 or 3 of them won't shipping be really high would i be better off just to go to the store to buy the games or what?

Goozex is a much better deal if you're planning on trading in games rather than just buying them outright. There are some cases where games are cheaper/easier to find here, but if you can get them in the store for a comprable price then at least you won't have to wait for them to be mailed to you.
thank you for all your help.......just have some other questions.....
1. if there are no shipping cost when getting a game is there any taxes on the games? i just wondered since other than the cost for trading credits and goozex points is that all there is for prices to get your games? no taxes involved? and since this is goozex.com will there be any difference in prices since i'm canadian?
2. i'm really confused again this time about the whole position in the My Request that i put my games in that i wanted......i have all the necessary points and trades or i did not really sure what's going on now......i didn't have enough points and trades before then i bought more to have enough and now it's saying
+ 2 trade credit(s) reserved for trade(s) in match pending approval
+ 200 points reserved for trade(s) in match pending approval
i had forgotten that one game was 150 instead of 100 so i just bought an extra 100 points to match it but what i don't get is this :
i had orginally had 600 points with 5 trades then when i decided on the games i wanted i bought extra 5 trades and extra 200 points to match up with the value and trades i needed and up until a few minutes ago i noticed i was missing 50 points but at that point it was telling me that i only had trades: 9 and points 600 on my profile up ontop when it should have said 10 trades and 800 points......after i noticed i had 50 points missing i added the extra 100 points to match it and now it's reading i have 700 points on my profile well the total value of the games listed sais it's 850 points and so far i've had a total of 900 points all together plus 10 trade credits so what gives why i only have 9 trades and 700 points on my profile up ontop does this mean that some of my games people have started using my trades and points for them or did i just get stolen trades and points ???
all my games i put for full package to get is that a bad thing? will it take a very long time to get?
some will say it has 4 active positions with 0 ready to trade and 4 with restrictions 4 hold requests ahead of me with my place in line 8 and other ones will say like active position 8 ready to trade 4 , 4 with restrictions 7 on hold request ahead of me place in line 15
all this info is really confusing i've read some stuff from the forums about it it just seems to be even more confusing......i thought i knew a lot about computers and stuff but this trading buying stuff is really giving me a headache.....all i want to do is get my games i had put on requests for and i can't figure out if and how and when i will get them and if i am missing points and if so how come since i was careful enough to get everything i needed before putting them in my request list (other then the 50 points i didn't notice i needed at the time but rectified it)

As for #1, you're not selling games for cash so there's no taxes or exchange rates involved.
For #2... wow. I'd suggest a more careful readthrough of the How It Works section, this should have all the information you need to comprehend the basics of the service. It also links to the FAQ for more in-depth questions. If this isn't enough, maybe ask your parents for help? It seems like 99% of Goozex members are able to figure it out without needing guidance though...
One good resource for figuring out your account status is the "Account History," which you can find in the "My Account" section. This will give an itemized list of all the transactions so you can see where your points have been spent.

and by the way i am still very new to this i haven't even been in that many forums, and posts and everything else on the web itself i'm very intelligent when it comes to computers but when it comes to these things it's different than ebay which i have been with for a very long time but these trades and everything else is quite confusing at times and i am sorry for babling on before i was just a little worried and confused about everything i don't even know if i'm doing everything right and as for those FAQ's and i have been in those how do you think i got to post these questions?
as for #2 response to my question wow indeed where did you think i was a kid??? i am 35 years old and am married and living with my wife.....i'm the one who takes care of bills and everything.....and as for seems like 99% of goozex members able to figure it out without guidance i am sooooo sorry i'm not as brilliant as everyone else in here i guess i don't belong in here so i gather after i get those games shipped to me whenever they will be i will cancel my membership in here then.
