Just a friendly warning.  Do NOT get this game if you are used to using the 'invert' option in games.  It doesn't exist in the game - only inverted aim is available.

Glad I rented it first!

Same here.  I'm trying like heck to get used to it, but can't.

I hope this isn't a trend in new games.  I was worried when they started making games non-inverted by default.

I'm a little confused.

Inverted means: up = down, down = up, left = right, right = left?
Non-inverted: up = up, down = down, etc.

You said invert doesn't exist but there is inverted aim? Just curious, but why would anyone use inverted controls for movement?

I assume he's talking about the camera movement - it's horrible to go from a game with inverted to normal (or vice versa).  This happened to me when I started playing FFXII, and for the first six hours the camera was constantly going in the wrong direction.

But I definitely agree with the OP, there's really no excuse for not having this option in games anymore.

Other than the camera, how is it? Most of the reviews I've read say it isn't anywhere near as creepy or scary compared to the others. Also the main character has too many good abilities for the enemies he has to deal with.

Inverted aim is a must for games today. As hard as it is for people who play normal to play inverted, it's the same story for people who usually play inverted; the game just doesn't play right.

It's ok though, I heard the game sucks anyways.

I heard the PC version was getting either patched or delayed to deal with this ... don't care either way, not really interested and the reviews haven't done anything to impress me.

That sucks Im looking forward to playing it one of this days and add it to my backlog. Maybe by that time the game would be patched to include inverted option, if enough people complian I don't think its hard to patch the PS3 or the 360 version of the game.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
