Not ever series can bat 1000, not even the best ones. What are you least favorite games in the series you hold most dear.
Zelda: I'm not a fan of Majora's Mask at all. I found the main quest to be absurdly short . And the lack of a true final dungeon really hurts it.
Mario: (not counting Mario 2 since it's not really a Mario game) Super Mario Sunshine. Boring enviroments and it just really didn't feel like a mario game.
Devil May Cry 2
For President!
NHL 95 through NHL 07
Thunder Bay
cheeznrice: NHL 95 through NHL 07
I really liked NHL 96 and 97 on the Genesis. 95 was some weird mismash of nonsense though--one of the few times EA had three consecutive years (94,95,96) of the same sport game where each game was noticably different. Although 97 wouldn't save my season properly if my 32x was plugged in.
To answer the OP--
Any console Sonic game after Sonic Adventure 1 on the Dreamcast. I know a lot of people like Secret Rings on the Wii, but I couldn't get into that one either.
I might also have to add Mega Man 9 to my list...
Final Fantasy VIII (XI if you count the MMO as a final fantasy game)

Congratulations on being 1 of about 5 people to own a 32X. I may end up being number six at some point. Want Knuckles Chaotix. What don't you like about Mega Man 9. It's classic Mega Man goodness.

I actually just sold my 32x last month. Knuckles Chaotix is on GameTap if you're interested in that.
I appreciate that Capcom decided to create a new fully 8-bit Mega Man, but I feel like the whole thing was done tongue-in-cheek. It's extremely frustrating and difficult just to be extremely frustrating and difficult--like the developers were working on some inside joke and in the process mocking the series.
Then again, maybe I just suck at platformers now. I picked up Super Mario World on the GBA and can't seem to beat it (I'm not taking star roads).
well they also just released mega man 9 on xbox live arcade.
Free MONEY or PRIZES for 1-5 min. surveys!:
Shady: well they also just released mega man 9 on xbox live arcade.
And that's where I got it.
For me it is Deus Ex: Invisible War. Given that Deus Ex is one of the top games of all time, this terribly mediocre sequel was inexcusable.

Neverwinter Nights 2, every Mortal Kombat after Ultimate MK3, and Final Fantasy XI immediately come to mind.

Have you played 'Mask of the Betrayer'? Absolutely brilliant ... completely redeems the series - it is like NWN meets Planescape: Torment!
Final Fantasy X.... hated it.
I havent played NWN2. Is it as good as 1?
How's the multiplayer? It worth the $40 (without expansions) to pick up 2 copys and play with the wife (she enjoyed 1)? I've read mixed reviews...

No, but thank you for the recommendation. I might have to look into that.

And the GBA version of Mario World was actually made easier. In That version if you take a hit as Cape or Fire you drop down to Super Mario. In the original you go straight down to small mario. So you get less hits in the original.
