I had to use the one-sided cancelation recently as I had 3 games that I was taking to the PO stolen from my vehicle. I do not like the one-sided cancelation, but in my situation a buyer could have been an arsehat about it and not accepted the cancelation. User abuse can go both ways.

They could be an arse about it, but in my experience they usually aren't. I've had a decent amount of trade cancellation requests before, and as long as the sender gives me a non-BS reason, I usually accept.

I received the following messages all within 10 minutes of each other from a new user:

FIRST EMAIL:

SECOND EMAIL:

Goozex private message

Dear dtp11,

You have received a private message from *****


 Subject:
wii
 Message:
i would like to know how much this it will cost to me i dont want order it if i will receive a bill to pay thanks



THIRD EMAIL:

Trade cancellation message

Hello Dustin,

The seller <*****> has canceled the trade for the game "Mario Kart Wii" (platform: Wii).

Reason for cancellation: i dont want pay anf i dont want receive bills



This is the second time someone has cancelled on me without me having to accept and I agree, it's frustrating.  Something needs to be done.

Someone can definitely abuse the system this way.  A limit at the very least should be in place.

I actually liked it more, when if the buyer and the seller would agree, to the trade, but only after receiving the game, would that trader get the points, because what ppl do these days is jack your points once a seller has agreed to trade it, and gets the points immediately after, so now they are taking advantage of that by using the points they receive to use thhem to get a different game, and then cancel the trade later. Goozex nedds to fix this.

I've received the excuse "I'm out of stamps" more than once which is definitely a sign that the user should probably not be using the website un-supervised.

looks like i ran into the same person devyanks ran into who left a cancellation reason of "@".  The trade was cancelled almost 7 days after the trade was accepted.  Very frustrating and I hate to see someone try to scam their way to more points.

The one-sided cancellation is stupid. I was 1st in line for NHL 09 and it got accpeted 4 days ago. It was supposed to ship yesterday but it got cancelled today. I was planning on leaving the guy a tip because the game is so new and hasn't gone up to 1000 points yet. He cancels it because it goes up to 950. You shouldn't activate the game for trade if you're gonna do this. This guy has 45 trades completed and 70 cancellations.

I just got matched up with The Orange Box 2 days ago. The game was to be shipped today. I get a trade cancellation the reason being "I Accpeted The Wrong Game". If the one sided trade cancellation was not in effect I would have not accepted the request and if I did not receive it that person would have gotten a negative. "I Accpeted The Wrong Game" is BS. Then dont list the game if you have no intention of trading it away.

blahness and b-ballplaya, it's the same person as me. i'm gonna email goozex about it tomorrow (or tonight if i have time) and suggest you do the same. 20 cancellations a week is abusing the system and something should be done about it.

What is the email adress I need to send a complaint to. I agree that something should be done. I don't care if this user has 45 positive feedbacks, his use of the cancellation is rediculous.
