I was supposed to receive Lego Star Wars Complete Sage (850pts) from one user (zero feedback), but instead I received Battlefield Bad Company (1000pts) with the inner note (top half of the address page addressed to another goozex user with BFBC).
I marked the neutral score (received wrong game) and that seemed to close the situation with no further action. I sent PMs/emails to help@goozex.com (no response) and to the two users. Their option is for me to mail it back to either, but without having points dependent on the trade, I'm worried I may get scammed. It could very well be a honest mistake for the new user , but this seems like one way to scam the system.
This makes me further concerned that the new user has zero feedback. I'll send a PM to the user who received LSW asking him to send the neutral feedback to the seller confirming they were matched up by the system and aren't conning me.
Thoughts what to do? Thanks, Mike
Edited to remove usernames as requested and corrected zero feedback/2 request open at atime misstake.
Nevermind about having one open trade at a time, I now see it's 2. Am I being too paranoid? I just don't want Goozex to ignore me if I never get the replacement game.
I wouldn't send it out until you hear back from goozex. feedback at goozex.com would be a better address for this issue.
Also, could you please remove the other users name from the post's as it is against forum rules.
Not to distract from the issue, but I just reread the forum rules here and didn't see anything that said that other users names were not allowed to be posted. They was provided so anyone interested or admin could research this.
still, bad ettiquitte to post as they may have just made an honest mistake and you may be ruining their trade rep. for one possible accident.
True, but we actively discourage posting trade detail that include other users.
Forum posts referring to other forum members are no issue.
See the distinction?

It's not really an admin tool, everyone has access. If you look up the OPs history, you can see all his transactions and who they are with.
It is not a rule but a courtesy to prevent flame wars, and rep bashing, that we enforce. Your situation seems like an honest mistake not a scam. When packing up multiple games at the same time mistakes can happen.
The best thing for you to do is to communicate with the user who sent you the game, and keeping Goozex informed about what is happening. Hopefully everything can get sorted out without Goozex stepping in.

This seems like this could be a way to scam the system and the admin should be aware. Open a new account, and send a user a wrong game, get them to send it back, ignore requests to send the right game, use the points you earned on the trade and move on.
My main problem here is that full points were awarded on a transaction not completed - there was no further option to correct/remail after I highlighted received wrong game. I like to rely on the point system in keeping people honest (which I'm sure most people are, but you can't tell with a user with zero feedback), and by losing the point system as negotiation on the remail, some people may be less than honest.
Sorry to distract on the real issue here by mentioning names.
