I just joined this site today so I'm definitely the noob here but I think I have a pretty good idea how things work here AND I already shipped out a couple games TODAY (yay for me ). So I'm definitely ready to start things off on the right foot here. My question is I have seen lots of cool Japanese released only games for PS2. I'm curious when do those games get posted/created on Goozex because I don't see everything I'm looking for. An example is I'm looking for Hokuto No Ken (Sega/Arc System Works released Mar 29, 2007 (JP)). I see a bunch of other Fist of the North Star games but not this one. I'm also seeing older Bleach games for the PS2 but not the latest ones. Can anyone shead light on this for me?
If they were strictly Japanese releases they may not be on this site at any time because this site is mainly trading within America.
Understandable but I have searched and seen lots of Japanese games so that's why I ask. In the example I list, do a search for Fist of the North Star and you'll see a bunch of Japan only releases.
Well it's pretty much what jizzle says. This is all North American-based. Yes, they have some Japanese games on here, but don't expect them to have exactly what you're looking for. If you do multiple searches on the item and they don't have it, it's probably not on the trading list. If it is a big deal to you, you could post the games you want to see in the Suggestions forum and it might happen, although keep in mind that you will probably have to wait awhile to find someone that has your game, as Japanese games are much more rare here.
EDIT: Oh, and welcome to Goozex
I've been one of the most active traders in Import games, but most of them are older titles, and you won't see any new ones. I am working with Goozex to fix the price points on a lot of them. And I hope to work with them on allowing more import games onto the site, especially newer titles.
Awesome. Seeing the import games on this site is actually what made me sign up as I can trade or sell my old games to friends or somewhere like Craig's List. Import games are usually harder for me to come by and I'm sure I'm not the only person out there that would be more willing to put our games up for trade here if we knew there were imports in the selection to choose from.
